Cruise’n on Route 66 is located in historic Williams, Arizona. Founded in 1881, Williams is a small town along historic Route 66 and Interstate 40, nestled in the heart of the Kaibab National Forest and also known as the “Gateway to the Grand Canyon.”

Williams offers unlimited recreational opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, including fishing, hiking, and cross-country skiing. In 1989, the Grand Canyon Railway reopened with trips by railroad to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, and it was a new beginning for the town. Today, people from all over the world visit Williams on their way to the Grand Canyon and to enjoy a bit of the old Route 66.

The Historic Downtown District covers six square blocks. The town boasts a rich heritage that features the Old West and Route 66 and the town’s heyday years of the ’50s and ’60s.
